Kevin Nash recently made it known that Bam Bam Bigelow wasn’t too keen on The Kliq, even though the group didn’t have any qualms with him.
The Kliq has made a name for itself as one of the most controversial backstage power factions in the wrestling world. During its stint in WWE, The Kliq drew negative attention from many parties. In a recent episode of Nash’s “Kliq This” podcast, he mentions how Bigelow was one of their critics.
Here are some notable excerpts from the podcast:
On why Bigelow wasn’t a fan of the group: “Bam Bam wasn’t fond of us, but we always supported him. Upon our return from Europe, Bam Bam said, ‘It’s wrong that — they segregate us into heels and babyface buses, yet The Kliq? They all hop into one bus since they decided, ‘We’re going to travel with our own people.’”
On how Scott Hall convinced Vince McMahon that The Kliq bore no grudge against Bigelow: “Scott mentioned, ‘I understand he isn’t too fond of us.’ Scott went on to say, ‘But the guy can be part of my team.’”
Nash also shared his preference for one version of WWE Hall of Famer Kane, noting his fondness for the time when Kane communicated through a voice box.
Nash commented, “During that time when Kane communicated through a voice box and voiced a few remarks? I believe that was a peak moment for Kane, and my favorite rendition of Glenn was indeed that moment when he generated lightning or thunder from his hands.”
