Hulk Hogan, the legendary wrestling figure who’s also a two-time inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, has made headlines by suggesting he could have a role in President-Elect Donald Trump’s forthcoming administration, particularly in a position focused on physical fitness. Going by comments made by Hogan himself, he seems to believe that the future President sees a key role for him moving forward.

He shared his perspective with FOX News’ Brian Kilmeade, seemingly confident of his place in Trump’s plans. Hogan stated, “My president remarked, ‘You’re perfectly suited to helm the President’s Council on Physical Fitness… During our rendezvous in the backstage area of Madison Square Garden after a significant rally, our discourse touched upon Robert Kennedy, nutrition, and the fact that a vast number of foreign nations don’t allow their people to consume American food because it’s highly unhealthy. This has adversely impacted a whole generation of children. Naturally, from there we started discussing physical fitness.”

This comes as Trump has selected Kennedy, known for his anti-vaccine stance, to oversee the Department of Health and Human Resources, despite his lack of experience or expertise in the area. Similarly, Trump has appointed former WWE chief, Linda McMahon as the head of the Department of Education, even though she doesn’t have any professional experience as an educator.

McMahon resigned from Connecticut’s Council on Education back in 2010 following allegations that she had falsely claimed to possess a Bachelor’s in Education.
