Subsequent to that, an exciting four-sided contest saw Buddy Matthews reign triumphant, seizing the victory by pinning Martin among competitors The Beast Mortos, Dante Martin, and Komander.
In the Zero Hour pre-show’s climactic main event, Big Boom! AJ prevailed over QT Marshall. This match was notably enlivened by the anticipated return of Paul Wight, not just as a commentator but also stepping in to shield The Rizzler in a surprise intervention.
Wight’s comeback stood out, as he had previously been off AEW radar for a while, last seen in the capacity of a board member for the ROH brand.
