Bobby Lashley Sets His Sights On AEW World Title, Private Party Feel Grateful For Title Win

In a recent stopover on “The Lame Guys” podcast, Bobby Lashley, the ex-WWE Superstar, shared his aspiration to either secure a victory or defend the AEW World Title at All In: Texas 2025.

Find some key points from the podcast here:

On his aspiration to claim the AEW World Title: “My goal is to either defend the title or compete for it. I’m a former ECW Title, WWE Title, TNA Title, AEW Title holder. I’m looking forward to acquiring it because with my past track record, experience, and identity, I deserve it. But more importantly, it will give others something to strive for.”

On being a formidable adversary: “I’m not the kind of person that’s easy to overcome. It’s not a pleasant place to be once you get to me. Although I yearn for the title match, once I win it, others might dread matching up against me. But I think, that scenario will be beneficial for many at AEW as they will have a tough nut to crack. I can become that for them.”

AEW Tag Team Champions, Private Party, in their latest visit to the “Instinct Culture” podcast, showed gratitude to fans for their support following their triumph at the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen outperformed The Young Bucks to clinch the titles during the Fright Night episode of AEW Dynamite the previous month.

Isiah Kassidy on their tag team victory: “It’s phenomenal. I can’t find the words to express how utterly thankful I am to be this AEW World Tag Team Champion. When you consider the teams that have held this belt, there are teams like FTR, Young Bucks, Darby Allin, and then even Sting. Sting defended this very belt. That’s why when asked, ‘Will you modify this championship belt?’ I say no, this is the original belt that was meant for us. So, I will keep it in its original form as it already possesses great respect.”

Marq Quen expressing gratitude to their supporters: “I must thank the fans because we weren’t much talked about when it came to tag team championships, so they gave us that platform. It was a blessing for us. The first time we matched up against the Bucks in 2019, I felt so thrilled that I could have died happy. But then the Young Bucks said, ‘Just wait until you win the titles.’ That gave us hope, and I felt as if I had been brought back to life to experience happiness again. That’s the feeling that it gave me. It was like a reincarnation.”
