Omega’s single comeback set for January 5
Ever since Kenny Omega’s clash with Gabe Kidd at Power Struggle on November 4, the wrestling community hasn’t stopped talking about it. Recently, Omega opened up about his decision to go against Kidd at the Tokyo Dome after discussing it with NJPW officials. This was immediately accepted by Kidd, who asserted that he doesn’t care about what NJPW or the fans want, but only what he wants. After an intense brawl against Chase Owens and KENTA, Kidd’s candid outburst has made the match official.
After a long break of 396 days from professional wrestling, Kenny Omega is all set to step into an NJPW ring exactly after two years. But will he be able to overcome Gabe Kidd, a ferocious contender in the Tokyo Dome?
Wrestle Dynasty 2025 will feature the heavyweight warriors of NJPW, AEW, STARDOM, ROH, and CMLL.
In another segment, next week’s episode of AEW Rampage will focus entirely on Lucha wrestling, featuring CMLL stalwarts Mistico, Atlantis Jr., Hechicero, and Mascara Dorada.
Thunder Rosa is also set to respond to a challenge by a new entrant, “Harleygram,” who although is not Harley Cameron, is touted as her counterpart, Hologram.
Also, Dante Martin, The Beast Mortos, Komander, and Buddy Mathews will battle it out in a fatal four-way match at the Zero Hour pre-show for AEW Full Gear 2024.
