The closure of the WWE Network in the United Kingdom has been officially announced, preceding the transfer of its content to Netflix set for January of the upcoming year.
Although the WWE chose to abandon the Network model in the U.S in favor of Peacock, a number of other countries have carried on using the original Network layout.
This week, the following message was sent to users of the WWE Network:
Apart from Monday Night RAW, global fans outside the U.S. will have access to WWE SmackDown, WWE NXT, and pay-per-view events.
It’s been made clear that subscribers will gain access to a host of past WWE shows, although it is yet to be specified what other events will be made available on the formidable streaming platform.
