Wrestling enthusiasts can look forward to seeing MVP, the former WWE United States Champion, take part in a ring match for AEW (All Elite Wrestling). He has aspirations of having his final match with the company.
MVP, also known as Montel Vontavious Porter, made his first appearance for AEW during the Grand Slam event of Dynamite in September. During this segment, he took the opportunity to critique Prince Nana’s managerial strategies.
While interacting with a devotee on the online platform BlueSky, MVP confirmed his intention to wrestle for AEW as a member of the Hurt Syndicate. He affirmed, “Yeah. I plan to [wrestle] eventually [and] officially retire in AEW.”
So far during his time with AEW, MVP has stood in as the leader for Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, both of whom have previously competed in matches under the promotion. Prior to this, MVP’s latest wrestling match harks back to the July 18, 2022 episode of WWE RAW. During this, he and his partner Omos were disqualified in a match against the Street Profits.
