EC3 On Why It’s Hard To Have Sympathy For Victims Of Scammers

Wrestling star, EC3, recently expressed some measure of disappointment regarding fans susceptible to scams by individuals posing as professionals in the wrestling arena, albeit acknowledging the difficulty of expressing deep sympathy.

There’s a rising number of fraudsters utilizing the names and images of wrestlers to deceive unguarded fans into parting with their cash or gift cards. One wrestler whose likeness gets frequently misused is Alexa Bliss.

Speaking on a new episode of the podcast, “Wrestling Outlaws”, EC3 disclosed his views on fans falling prey to these deceitful accounts. He stated,

“If someone is stupid enough to give you money, take it because if you don’t, someone else will. I mean so obviously, over 625 million dollars of people falling for these scams, it’s sad. It’s unfortunate, but how much empathy can you give someone when this, like you fall for it, and that’s just like, unfortunately… I don’t know.”

Alexa Bliss in her rights has consistently cautioned fans against these fraudsters, proclaiming unequivocally that she would never resort to sending arbitrary DMs requesting money or other precious items.

Surprisingly, early this month, it was revealed that a gentleman had donated a staggering million to a pretender posing as Alexa Bliss, including his granddaughter’s university savings.

Notwithstanding the numerous warnings from his relatives regarding fraudsters, the man continued to send money until he passed earlier this year.
