QT Marshall Fires Back At CM Punk, Tony Khan Raves About Working With Costco Guys

Working with the Costco Guys on AEW Full Gear 2024 has been an enriching experience for Tony Khan.

In a media call last Thursday, Khan, the President of AEW, discussed how the Costco Guys have given him a new perspective on marketing.

The pre-show match at the Zero Hour of AEW Full Gear 2024 will see Costco Guy AJ take on QT Marshall.

In a statement, Khan said: “The experience has been fantastic. I’ve learned a great deal about marketing and entrepreneurship from AJ and Justice. Talking to them has been quite enjoyable. Tomorrow, I’ll be on Fox Business Network discussing this partnership with Big Boom AJ. They’ve created an impressive brand, and they’re a warm, close-knit family. It’s heartening to see a father-son duo working in harmony. Their story resonates with people across the globe, not just in America.”

He also added: “They obviously enjoy each other’s company and watching Justice and the Rizzler grow. It’s inspiring to see what they’ve accomplished. Hearing their name on The Tonight Show was a proud moment, as was having AEW mentioned on such a respected platform. Big Boom AJ and Big Justice’s high-profile media presence has greatly benefitted AEW. We’re thrilled to have the Rizzler with us at AEW. This partnership represents the kind of productive collaborations we seek with our marketing associates.”

It was reported earlier on eWn that CM Punk admitted in a recent interview that he squandered some of his matches while at AEW.

When a Twitter user suggested that Punk wasted a match on QT Marshall, Marshall responded stating Punk had actually requested to fight him.

The user had said, I recall that Punk surely did not want a brief 5-minute match with QT Marshall on Thanksgiving.

In response, Marshall said, Actually, my boss received a request from him. ‘I wish to wrestle a villain in my hometown who won’t steal the show and try to win the crowd’s favor.’
