During a recent press interaction on Thursday to talk about AEW Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view event, Tony Khan, the President of All Elite Wrestling, answered questions about live AEW pay-per-view shows airing on HBO MAX.

Check out some of the significant revelations from this media interaction:

When questioned about the timeline for live AEW pay-per-view premieres on HBO MAX, Khan commented, “It’s too early for me to provide any updates on this. The decision largely rests with our exceptional media partners, Warner Brothers Discovery, to whom we hold a deep appreciation. Our collaboration with them has been excellent. Anticipate the telecast of Dynamite and Collision as we commence with 2025.”

On the logistics involved in structuring the backlog of PPV shows on MAX, Khan shared, “The process of delivering pay-per-view on Max necessitates significant enhancements and technical efforts on the back end. I do not want to provide any presumptive dates at this point. I am aware of the extensive workload awaiting the Max engineering team for this pay-per-view capability. We are eagerly awaiting Max’s launch of this delivery system, and once it is operational, we have a plan in place, including how it will function for Max subscribers. It is only a matter of time before we can implement this, but fans can expect it sometime in 2025. As for the Max pay-per-view delivery system, it could take a vast number of months.”

AEW plans to simultaneously air AEW Dynamite and Collision on HBO MAX from January 1, 2025 onwards.
