On a recent episode of the “What Happened When” podcast, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone explained his hopes for the House of Black to triumph in the AEW World Tag Team Championship. This came in response to questions about which AEW Full Gear 2024 encounters he is most anticipating.
Below are some excerpts from the podcast:
His thoughts on upcoming matches at the AEW Full Gear: “Jon Moxley versus Orange Cassidy piques my interest greatly, and I believe the four-way match has the potential to be tremendously exciting. The ring will be full of talented individuals, and my admiration for Brody [King] and Malakai [Black] is enormous.”
Schiavone’s views on Malakai Black: “You might not be aware, but Malakai runs a wrestling school in Florida. I’ve visited and engaged with his trainees. I appreciate his teaching approach in wrestling. He’s incredibly versatile and capable. I respect him greatly. Brody is an exceptional individual, and the House of Black has become a stable part of AEW. I would greatly enjoy seeing them win the World Tag Team Championship. But let’s wait and see. Don’t interpret my personal preference as an indication of the actual result. It’s merely my perspective as a fan.”
