Ex-CEO of WWE, Linda McMahon is foreseeably going to be nominated as Donald Trump’s choice for Secretary Of Education, despite her prior conviction. Trump, having recently won the presidential election, is due to make this call.
According to CNN, they have gathered information from four confidential sources that the president-elect is gearing up to appoint McMahon as his choice for Secretary Of Education. This news came into light once it became evident that the Commerce Secretary position was not in her sights.
Trump has already revealed that the responsibility to lead the Commerce Department will fall onto Howard Lutnick. Lutnick, like McMahon, co-chairs Trump’s transition team.
McMahon boasts previous experience in the Trump administration, having served as the head of the Small Business Administration during Trump’s initial term. However, she made a decision to step down from her position in 2019.
