Xavier Woods, a member of The New Day, confidently professed that his team is the greatest in WWE’s tag team history at a recent “SEN” event.
Woods vocalized his conviction that within the annals of WWE, The New Day holds a distinguished position as the most accomplished tag team. In his words,
“Actually, I’m stoutly claiming that we are the most recognized tag team in WWE’s long-standing history. Without any tribulations or spinoffs, we have the longest tenure. Viewed from an objective standpoint, we indeed are the best. Let’s face it, when (Ric) Flair is considered the best due to his 16-title reigns, then surely we deserve a ranking at the pinnacle.”
He further added, “Our sustained presence primarily stems from every team member’s priority on what is most beneficial for the team. That has and will always be our primary aim. The endeavours were not about ‘I should accomplish this to be crowned the Ring’s King’ – a thought which comes next in line. The main question has always been how can this benefit the team? With the shared focus of working for the team, I firmly believe I will ultimately reach my desired peak.”
