WrestleMania taking place in the United Kingdom is only a matter of time according to SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis.
In the recent past, there has been a resounding call from fans who are eager to see WrestleMania in the UK, with London being the preferred host city.
In a recent episode of the podcast “Insight”, Aldis expressed his belief that WrestleMania will eventually be hosted in the UK, saying,
“Certainly, without a doubt. Take for example, the Mayor of London’s campaign—Chris made a pledge to try and bring WrestleMania to Wembley. Now, if that doesn’t signify the status of WWE, I don’t know what does. The Mayor of London is a pretty significant political figure, only second to the Prime Minister in aspiration. The idea that a candidate for Mayor of London would promise to do everything in their power to bring WrestleMania to Wembley, it’s quite something, isn’t it?”
During WWE Money in the Bank 2023, superstar John Cena made an unexpected appearance, expressing his desire to bring the two-night tournament to London.
Additionally, Cody Rhodes has shown support for a UK-based WrestleMania, expressing his views to fans during a UK tour in April of the year.
