AEW is all set to feature the track “November Rain” by the iconic Guns N’ Roses for the imminent Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view event. AEW’s CEO, Tony Khan, is evidently elated about this choice.
In a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, wrestling commentator Dave Meltzer provided some insights regarding Khan’s motivation for choosing this particular tune.
In the words of Meltzer, “I know that Tony was somewhat thrilled about it. You know, growing up an ECW fan you know what I mean? It’s his nostalgia, and it’s going to air, I mean I don’t know if it’s the same video, but I know he’s going to be airing it on Wednesday night as well, and also air it on the pay-per-view. So I don’t know if it’s the same video on all three shows, but he’s definitely going to do a video to November Rain on Wednesday and on Saturday.”
Come November 23, 2024, the much-anticipated AEW Full Gear event will take place at the esteemed Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Remarkably, it is the second time the Full Gear event will be hosted at this venue, following its premiere there in 2022.
