WWE NXT stirred up feelings of reminiscence among many fans when it made a memorable appearance last week at its former ECW stomping ground, the 2300 Arena.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, sources have reported that there is no individual in the company who can be credited with this thought-provoking concept.
The insiders also detailed that WWE’s intentions to stage the spectacle have been brewing for a considerable amount of time. It was not specifically aligned around the November 8th timeline, as they consistently projected to leverage the esteemed arena in their strategy.
The report also summarized that, “It was just an idea to materialize at some point. Subsequently, when they recognized that they would be directly clashing with AEW on 11/8, the strategic decision to play out this plan on that night was confirmed. Presently, conversations point toward the idea of turning this into a yearly tradition. This is a promising idea because incorporating unique venues into the television programming can create a dynamic experience.”
This past Tuesday, WWE marked its return to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
