At a recent appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show,” WWE legend Mark Henry revealed the curious manner he discovered and then scouted Bianca Belair. He chanced upon her at a Crossfit competition, where her performance left a strong impression on him.
Henry shared his insights on Belair’s impressive performance which played a significant role in his decision. He specifically recalled a moment when Belair, despite being in the midst of an intense competition, turned a backflip, followed by a cartwheel to the next event.
He vividly recollected, “She’s partaking in an event, then all of a sudden she executes a backflip, soon followed by a cartwheel to the next event. Internally, I was telling myself, ‘Stop it. You’re expending too much energy. You’re going to finish last.’ However, she did not. When an athlete can show off, enjoy themselves, still come first while others are on the verge of collapsing, that’s when I understood her level of fitness and her dedication to training. Boy, she was outstanding that day. She had a Mickey Mouse bow on her hair, a fluffy tutu that she designed – she wanted to make her own mark. That’s not just Crossfit but pure wrestling. That truly caught my eye”.
