Goldberg Enjoyed Wrestling Football Stars, Johnny Gargano On Potentially Facing Tommaso Ciampa

Wrestling icon Goldberg has experienced the joy of partnering with ex-football players in the wrestling ring.

On a recent episode of the “Going Ringside” podcast, he revealed the delight he felt working alongside notable personalities such as Steve “Mongo” McMichael, Kevin Greene, and The Rock from WWE/WCW.

Goldberg delightedly shared, “That’s my role. That’s what I specialize in. The experience was enjoyable. Sharing the ring with McMichael was awesome. People often overlook Kevin Greene’s involvement.”

He further added, “It’s a no-brainer when it comes to The Rock. Working with these individuals was a unique experience because they had a clear understanding of my journey. They knew my story. They have experienced the life I once led before me.”

Johnny Gargano, who has been both a rival and a comrade to Tommaso Ciampa at different times, recently speculated on the potential of a possible confrontation.

On a recent episode of the “Gorilla Position” podcast, Gargano was questioned about a potential face-off with Ciampa.

Responding, Gargano said that at present, he shares a positive relationship with Ciampa, but hinted at likely future changes.

“Everyone always brings that up,” Gargano affirmed. “This will probably be a perennial question for me and Tommaso, especially when we’re on the same side, about when it will happen again. In present day, Tommaso and I get along pretty well. I wouldn’t say we’re at a different stage in life; we’re both now fathers. Maybe that has brought a little change.”

He proceeded to say, “We’re very excited about the tag team division and optimistic about its future; the same goes for DIY. I would always say this, only time will tell. Whether together or in opposition, people want to see Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, which is always a positive.”
