In a recent dialogue with SVG, Mike Mansury, AEW’s Executive Vice President of Global Production, expressed that the organization plans to incorporate a more ‘sports-style presentation’ in the upcoming year. Find below some highlighted excerpts from his conversation:

Discussing the improvements, Mansury mentioned: “We plan to differentiate our live events from our TV shows, aiming to make the experience for those in the house a little more exciting. We want to lean towards being more IP-based in everything that we do. The objective is to steer AEW towards the forefront of innovation. Our industry is a unique mix of sports and entertainment, and the challenge is to integrate technology into our content in a way that puts us on the leading edge of trends.”

Speaking about the plans to enhance the in-arena experience, he stated: “From 2025, we plan to deliver more of a sports-style presentation in the arena, providing entertainment to the audience when there are no in-ring activities or televised content. We want our live events and TV shows to offer distinct experiences to make them extra special for attendees.”

In the most recent issue of her ‘Mone Mag’ newsletter, Mercedes Mone expressed her admiration for Private Party’s victory over The Young Bucks to clinch the AEW Tag Team Championships in the previous week’s episode of Dynamite.

Sharing her thoughts, Mone said: “Moné Memory: Private Party & Amazing Red: It brought me great joy to reunite with the boys in Private Party last week. While there’s nothing formal planned in terms of a collaboration or faction, I’ve been observing their growth since their days as young trainees with Amazing Red at the House of Glory Wrestling School. My introduction to them was back in 2015 when they were still in their late teens. I still recall their curiosity about signing on with a major Promotion company five years ago and how proud I was when they announced their signing with AEW. Witnessing their ascension to AEW Tag Team Champions five years later has been a wonderful journey. Their success makes me feel like a proud elder sister, and the whole backstage crew echoes this sentiment. Their hard-earned success is a testament to their hard work and dedication. It’s a joy to support them and share in their pride.”
