The inaugural candidates for WWE’s “ID” initiative have been revealed, and they include Zayda Steel, Cappucino Jones and Bryce Donovan.
Notably, Steel is a recruit from Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), while Donovan made his name in Wrestling Open. The aptly named Jones hails from the promotion, This Is Wrestling.
In essence, the “ID” initiative is a “launchpad for emerging independent wrestlers that could potentially catapult them into a WWE career.”
A new candidate is set to be revealed during the forthcoming Reality of Wrestling event this weekend. There’s speculation swirling around that it could be Zilla Fatu.
