In the world of professional wrestling, authenticity is often a critical component for success. That’s one reason why AEW’s Bear Bronson values the promotion’s commitment to enabling talent to retain their individuality and infuse their unique style into their characters.
In a recent Twitter interaction, Bronson highlighted one positive aspect of AEW, expressing his deep appreciation for the company’s emphasis on authenticity. On his part, he wrote,
“We are heavily encouraged by @AEW to be our authentic selves and trusted to put our own spin on our characters.
There have been times on TV I thought I was being too over the top, only to be told afterwards “We feel like you’re holding back, show us more of that & turn it up!”
Bronson’s introduction to AEW audiences happened in December 2020. During an episode of AEW Dark, he and Bear Boulder formed a tag team but weren’t victorious against The Dark Order.
His first exposure on national television happened during a battle royal at AEW Revolution 2021. However, he’s still on the hunt for his first win on AEW TV programs.
