The NXT General Manager, Ava, disclosed during the latest episode of WWE NXT that the Iron Survivor Challenge will make a comeback at NXT Deadline. The much-anticipated event is to be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the iconic Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
So far, no specific matches have been confirmed or promoted for the event at the time of reporting, other than the suggested dual Iron Survivor Challenge face-offs. Nevertheless, the athletes to participate in these matches remain uncertain.
WWE’s tweet regarding this announcement revealed: “BREAKING: The Iron Survivor Challenge is back! #WWENXT will head to Minneapolis, Minnesota on Saturday, December 7th for Deadline!”
Following the announcement, Robert Stone expressed his disagreement with Ava’s belief that the most devoted and passionate pro wrestling audience is based in Philadelphia. Stone countered by praising the vibrancy of fans from New York and Boston.
As a reaction to Stone’s critique, TNA Wrestling’s star Rhino made a surprise appearance in the ring. Disciplining Stone with a vintage ECW ‘gore’, Rhino effectively silenced his barbs.
As captured in a tweet: “GORE!!! Rhyno just shut @MrStoneWWE up! 😱 #WWENXT.”
