In 2022, wrestling star Cody Rhodes made his comeback to WWE following his departure from AEW. However, he confessed that when he decided to split from AEW, owned by Tony Khan, he didn’t have concrete future plans.
February of the same year witnessed Rhodes bidding adieu to AEW and making a surprise return to WWE during WrestleMania 38.
During an engaging session on “The Flagrant Podcast”, Rhodes clarified a popular assumption among fans. He insisted there were no clear plans in motion when he made the exit.
Addressing the curiosity, Cody revealed, “To everyone else, it might have seemed that I had everything sorted, but that was not the case. I was uncertain about the course. There was a possibility of returning to AEW – we could have worked things out, but something within me was tilting in a different direction.”
Wrestling personality Carmelo Hayes expressed his views on the representation in WWE on the “Gorilla Position” podcast recently.
When Hayes was questioned on Triple H’s viewpoint during the WWE Bad Blood 2024 media scrum, where he stated not noticing “differences in people” and viewing everyone based on their talent only.
Replying to it, Hayes remarked, “Talent is talent, irrespective of who you are, and it opens up opportunities. We all, men and women, are showcasing that we are deserving of opportunities, disregarding racial, ethnic background.”
Adding to it, he voiced, “Thus, what Triple H means is essentially that talent outshines, and talented remains talented.”
