Ticketmaster recently announced the cancellation of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’s forthcoming events in Spain. The wrestling organization had booked shows for November 21, 22, and 30, but these will not proceed as planned. Reports indicate that Ticketmaster and LiveNation have marked these events as canceled, with the former issuing a statement saying that the tour organizer decided to cancel.
The statement says, “The organizer of the Lucha Libre AAA event scheduled for 11/21 has informed us that the event has been canceled.” It goes on to say, “Regrettably, the Lucha Libre AAA event that was set for November 21 at the Vistalegre Palace in Madrid has been canceled. Starting November 8, refunds for tickets will be issued using the purchase system. Online purchases will be automatically refunded.” Lucha Libre AAA is yet to share their own statement regarding the matter.
In other wrestling news, accusations against Jacob Fatu for his alleged no-show at a charity event and supposed retention of advance payments have been recently reported. Jake’s Network of Hope has commented on the issue with Fatu, indicating that the issue is being handled privately.
On a brighter note, following the NJPW Power Struggle 2024 event, Ricochet engaged with Zack Sabre Jr., leading to Sabre responding to the AEW wrestler at the post-show press conference.
