Mercedes Mone Pitches New AEW Weekly Show, News On Ricochet, Dax Harwood, Leila Grey

Dax Harwood recently took to Twitter to appreciate the spectacular 2-out-of-3 falls match between FTR and the Bang Bang Gang on AEW Collision the previous year.

Harwood’s Tweet read, Watched this today. Maybe our best ever.

On a recent episode of the “Battleground” podcast, Mercedes Mone offered her thoughts on the AEW roster and the feasibility of a weekly women’s wrestling show.

She remarked, Wow, a weekly show, absolutely. We have the talent, so why not? All Elite Women Wrestling? There you go. We have the best women’s wrestling. From Willow, Mariah May, Toni Storm, Serena Deeb, Kris Statlander, Kamille, there is definitely an opportunity to have an all women’s show every single week, so I don’t see why not.”

Mone is preparing to defend her TBS Title against Kris Statlander at the upcoming AEW Full Gear 2024 event.

Ricochet shared his motivations for going back to NJPW and challenging Zack Sabre Jr. at the NJPW Power Struggle 2024 match.

Ricochet expressed, I came back to New Japan Pro Wrestling to prove a point. That point is that I, Ricochet, am still the man around here. Seems like everyone has just forgotten about the things that I have done. Seems like everyone has just forgotten about the career that I have had. It seems like people have forgotten what I’ve done here in New Japan Pro Wrestling. So what better way to make an impact than to just come out and challenge the champion. Zack and I, we traveled the globe together. Whether it’s been all across America, Europe, Germany, Australia, even here in Japan. We’ve traveled the world, we’ve battled all over. But Zack, it’s different. You’re different, I’m different, we’re at a different time in our lives. I may have been gone, I may have taken a little hiatus for a while but I am back and I am still the fucking man around here. So at January 5th, people are gonna find out all over the world that I am not from here, I am out of this world.”

In other news, AEW/ROH wrestler Leila Grey has delved into the music industry by releasing her first song, “Baddie.”

Grey was formerly associated with Jade Cargill’s entourage in AEW.
