LA Knight Reacts To WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Botch, Seth Rollins Thanks Bronson Reed

Saturday’s WWE Crown Jewel 2024 pay-per-view event hosted a thrilling singles match between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed, where Rollins claimed victory seeking revenge against Reed.

Post the WWE Crown Jewel event, Rollins showed gratitude towards Reed and announced his future target to be the World Heavyweight Championship. He expressed,

“That was a substantial triumph and I acknowledged that it was a serious test for me. I’ve risen up to the occasion and I feel proud. However, I don’t perceive it as a victory. I want to pay tribute to Bronson Reed, honestly, he brought his A-game and it took all my strength to retaliate. He was brutal. He was cunning and ruthless. He surpassed all my expectations and I required this challenge to aim higher. I am certain that we will have another face-off in the future, but I yearn that to be in far-off days, as I’ve set my eyes on the World Heavyweight Championship. This Fatal 4-Way match. That’s what my focus is now. I stated post my comeback from injury that it’s about creating a legacy for me. I want to be, not only one of the greatest, but the absolute best of all time. You’ve got to conquer the best and claim titles to achieve that status. It’s a blessing that after a tumultuous year for me, I get another chance to scale that peak. But for now, I’ll go for a check-up with the doctor to make sure I’m physically ready for that 4-Way. So, thank you. Thank you all, and you know what? Let’s give it up for Bronson Reed.”

Digging more into the eventful post-WWE Crown Jewel show, LA Knight made a statement about the gaffe he committed during the Triple Threat match.

The match which was between Carmelo Hayes, Andrade and himself saw Knight taking an inadvertent fall when trying to climb onto the top rope, which led to a painful misadventure with the wrestling ring’s turnbuckle.

However, Knight was quick to shake off the discomfort and added, “Luckily, it was more of the inner thigh that got caught. What’s bizarre is, I completely overshot that. My heel slipped and bang, down I went. Obviously, these things happen. Rather than make a big deal about it, I’m shifting my focus towards improving. The next few days will be about training, not celebrating, as I work on avoiding similar mistakes. Even though it’s annoying thinking about it, I still managed to recuperate and continue the match. At the end of all this, I still have my United States Championship.”
