Matt and Jeff Hardy, the latest TNA World Tag Team Champions, have been making plans for their future beyond the wrestling ring.
During the Bound for Glory event, the Hardy brothers clinched the title in an intense Full Metal Mayhem match against Team ABC, consisting of Ace Austin & Chris Bey, and The System with Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards.
In a recent conversation with TheOneMona, Jeff Hardy revealed his post-wrestling aspirations. He expressed his keen desire to further explore his musical potential once he wraps up his wrestling career. He said,
“I’m really working hard. I’ve been involved with music since 2010. I put out my first album with my band out of Ohio and I got like four different musical projects going on. I’ve written so much in the last six months. I’m starting to learn about range and tone and where I can and can’t go, so I’m really working hard on that – to find my zone that’s going to be good for me to stay in with the music. I’ve been doing at least one acoustic show a month.”
In contrast to his brother, Matt Hardy sees his future still attached to the wrestling domain, even if he isn’t physically wrestling. He plans on contributing to professional wrestling in different roles. He stated,
“I’ll end up working behind the scenes as a producer, as an agent, or a writer, something in creative. I’ll drive Hardy Boyz [generation] two around, drive them to the towns.”
In this intriguing interview, the Hardy brothers also reminisced about a WWE match that influenced their decision to join the sport. For more insights from their conversation, click here.
