The Undertaker Criticizes Wrestlers For Breaking Character On Social Media

Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Fame inductee, The Undertaker, has expressed dissatisfaction with wrestlers who intentionally dismiss their personas outside the ring.

During an episode of his podcast, “Six Feet Under,” The Undertaker delves into the complexities of wrestlers discarding their personas in real life. His view was:

“There is a huge disconnect for me. Even being in the business, there’s so much — and I try to tell guys this all the time. Like, ‘You’re trying to be this character, you’re trying to be this individual. And then you go and go on social media, and you’re bouncing around acting like an idiot.’ I was just like, ‘How is anybody supposed to take you seriously? This is what pays the bill. This is what you are. This is what you are trying to be. And you’re not there yet.’”

Renowned for maintaining his in-ring persona for many years, The Undertaker only dropped his character publicly following his Final Farewell at WWE Survivor Series in November 2020.

Interestingly, since his retirement, The Undertaker has frequently been publically outspoken, even offering his thoughts on the upcoming Presidential election.

The Undertaker’s latest WWE appearance was during WrestleMania 40. During the event, he contributed to Cody Rhodes’ triumph over Roman Reigns.
