Cody Rhodes envisages a role in WWE beyond his active wrestling career.
In a recent conversation with Cathy Kelley, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion mentioned his regular appearances at corporate meetings and the knowledge he’s gained indirectly. He expressed,
“Being surprisingly involved in various aspects of the organization was unexpected. Regardless of how it comes across, there is an inherent leadership element involved, I’m included in corporate meetings and where one would usually feel out of place, I’m expected to participate and contribute.”
He continued, “This role has intrigued me. In the past, my tenure in a leadership position didn’t pan out as I hoped. I struggled with it, but I understood the areas I needed to improve. This represents a rerun of that leadership role, suggesting that future possibilities with WWE may extend beyond in-ring action. It’s a thought I’ve been entertaining lately.”
