During a recent appearance on the “Battleground Podcast,” professional wrestler Mark Briscoe opened up about how the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) influenced him and his deceased brother Jay. They were so inspired by ECW that it paved the way for them to join the professional wrestling industry.
Discussing their initial exposure to the world of wrestling, Mark delved into how ECW revolutionized their perspective and enlightened them about their life’s journey. He said, “Our familiarity with the original ECW was a transformative moment for us. That moment was when we realized our calling in life. Following in the footsteps of those untamed warriors in that South Philly, Pennsylvania, bingo hall has been our life-long pursuit. Our focus was always on recreating their raw energy and violent excellence.”
Regarding his unsettled rivalry with Chris Jericho, Mark added, “Jericho, you’re excellent at sports entertainment. You have also shown great proficiency in professional wrestling. However, your level of intensity doesn’t match the raw steel of ‘Dem Boys’.”
In another development, Lance Archer, following his induction into the Don Callis Family, has made some personal stylistic adjustments. Archer recently addressed this change on his “Hawk’s Nest Podcast.”
Discussing these alterations, Archer said, “Joining The Don Callis family necessitated some change on my part, which is why I decided to modify my look.”
Responding to the comments he received regarding his new look, Archer remarked, “The critiques thrown my way were amusing, to say the least… The bravery of keyboard warriors in the age of the internet never ceases to astound me. They possess the audacity of zealous anonymity when the safety of social media platforms barricades them.”
