Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a surprising comeback appearance at WWE Bad Blood 2024, with Jimmy Uso aiding Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns to overcome Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. After the match concluded, The Rock made his entrance, initiated a count of 1, 2, 3, and locked an intense gaze with Cody, Roman, and Jimmy before exiting.
This unexpected appearance has propelled rumors about The Rock’s possible involvement in WWE WrestleMania 41, leading the Final Boss himself to address these speculations about his status for the premier pay-per-view event next year.
These rumors, believing that The Rock would challenge Cody Rhodes – the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion – at WrestleMania 41, began circling after WrestleMania 40. The speculations became even more intensive post his surprise appearance at WWE Bad Blood 2024.
Contrary to these rumors, as reported earlier on eWn, The Rock expressed that he will not be competing at WrestleMania 41 next April, due to his Hollywood commitments. Further, he commented on an Instagram post dismissing these rumors, declaring, “Don’t believe any of that bull****.”
Preserving our previous reports, The Rock’s plans to participate at WrestleMania 41 are still on track. Despite his tight schedule, WWE continues to be a priority for The Rock, and he is anticipated to make occasional appearances.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that there is no confirmed news about The Rock’s involvement in the premiere episode of WWE RAW on Netflix yet.
As for The Rock’s WrestleMania 41 status, the published report states,
“We’re informed again that he’s not committed at this point. Obviously if he wishes to and considers he can, he’ll be doing it. The decision is entirely his. In confirmation with two sources who should have knowledge about the Mania main event, one disclosed that nothing is confirmed and the other said Johnson is not scheduled.”
In other activities and commitments, The Rock is currently prepping up for his forthcoming releases, “Red One” and “Moana 2.”
