Cody Rhodes Comments On WWE’s Current Momentum

It seems that Cody Rhodes is quite satisfied with the current direction of WWE.

In a recent conversation with “The Schmo”, the current reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion has shared his thoughts on the expected events at WrestleMania 41, the progress of the company, and other matters.

Here are some key takeaways from that interview:

On the expectations for WrestleMania 41 in comparison to WrestleMania 40: “Every WrestleMania poses the same question because our constant aim is to surpass the previous year. WrestleMania is like the Super Bowl for us. It signifies the start and finale of our WWE calendar year… all in one. We wrapped up a story at WrestleMania 40, now we have to top it for WrestleMania 41. Here’s my message, without giving out too much; I believe the events at WrestleMania 41 will diverge from many of the circulating rumors. It will be surprisingly unexpected and undoubtedly, it’ll eclipse WrestleMania 40.”

On the current momentum of WWE: “The greatest challenge is wondering after WrestleMania, ‘Do I deserve this belt?’ ‘Can I shoulder the company or become the company’s quarterback as they say?’ Right after exiting WrestleMania 40, we set off to Lyon, France. We conducted Backlash, resulting in a record arena gate, followed by more record arena gates. Using this measure, things seem optimistic. It’s that job assurance of ‘Okay, we’re progressing well as a group. I’m performing well as a champion.’ This year didn’t see a decline after WrestleMania. The trajectory has only been upward. Holding it in Vegas again demonstrates that it’s as colossal as it can get.”
