Renowned WWE Hall of Fame inductee Mick Foley is known to hold strong political views. Foley regularly showcases his dislike for fellow WWE Hall of Famer and convicted criminal Donald Trump.
Along with Dave Bautista, another wrestling veteran, Foley has publicly shown his support for Kamala Harris in her presidential race. On the other hand, fellow WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker and Kane have shown their support for Trump.
Foley, also known as the ‘Hardcore Legend’ in the wrestling world, was on CNN on a Monday night where he shared his opinion on Trump. His words were,
“I said that The Undertaker was right, Donald Trump did make politics fun for about three weeks [laughs] in 2016, but there’s nothing fun about his rhetoric, there’s nothing fun about the way he demeans citizens of this country, nothing fun about the way he talks down to women, and in my experience, real men respect strong women, they don’t live in fear of them.”
Despite differing political views, Foley mentioned that he continues to maintain a friendly relationship with The Undertaker – proving that it’s possible to have deep bonds that surpass political disagreements. On Twitter, Stephanie Hypes posted, “Mick Foley is on CNN tonight explaining how he is able to remain friends with Undertaker with their political differences.”
