During the post-main event clamor at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2024, Bully Ray had an active role. Afterwards, he explained his reasons for coming to Trick Williams’ aid.
When Ridge Holland launched an assault on Williams after his match with Ethan Page, with All Ego further complicating the situation, Ray stepped in to assist Williams.
The Busted Open Radio Twitter account shared a video where Ray and Dave LaGreca unpack the incident.
Ray, explaining his actions in the video, stated his intervention was prompted by Holland’s antics. He shared, “Shawn Michaels invited us to Halloween Havoc on Busted Open a week ago. We were given an amazing platform to be a part of the pre-show, live show, pretty much everything. But Ridge Holland tried to make a name for himself tonight, at our expense. I understand him seizing the opportunity to be noticed but he went too far the second time. That was our time.”
Ray went on to add, “As I told him, twice is enough. Don’t let it happen again. At the end of the night, when Ridge and Ethan [Page] started attacking Trick, no one seemed to be helping. So, I had no option but to intervene. Tonight was the final straw, and Ridge knows where to find me.”
Amid all the chaos, Williams managed to beat Page in the Devil’s Playground Match, retaining his NXT Title.

Post the NXT Women’s North American Title match at Halloween Havoc 2024, Fallon Henley and Kelani Jordan both took to social media to express their thoughts.
Henley, who emerged victorious against Jordan at the pay-per-view event, jubilantly wrote, “YEEHAW B*TCH! #andnew”
In a tweet, Jordan reciprocated the energy and stated, “Every title defense I gave it everything. Aiming to live up to the expectations of the first women’s NA Champion. Tonight was no different. Thank you for all the support. It’s just the beginning. #TheStandout #WWENXT #HalloweenHavoc”
