Trick Williams retains the title of WWE NXT World Champion.
During the WWE NXT Halloween Havoc pay-per-view event held on Sunday night, Williams battled it out with Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground match, emerging victorious. The match concluded with Ridge Holland attacking Williams, and Page joining the beating. This continued until Bully Ray intervened and forced Holland and Page off the stage, drawing the event to a close.
Williams’ has held onto the championship title for 27 days now.

Adding on to other WWE NXT-ECW related updates, Dawn Marie will be making an appearance at NXT’s forthcoming event at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The announcement was made during the WWE NXT Halloween Havoc pay-per-view event on Saturday night. Marie will serve as the special guest referee in a Hardcore Match between Lola Vice and Jaida Parker scheduled for the November 6th show. This marks the first time since 2005 that Marie, an ECW original, would be appearing in WWE. She had previously filed a lawsuit against WWE for wrongful termination due to her pregnancy. The case reached a settlement in 2007.
WWE tweeted the important update for NXT’s trip to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on October 28, 2024 featuring Ava.
The forthcoming WWE NXT event’s lineup includes:
– NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Fraxiom vs. Je’Von Evans & Cedric Alexander.
