On a recent installment of “The ARN Show,” podcast, Arn Anderson delved into a number of notable subjects. He discussed the recent Warner Bros. Discovery media rights agreement with AEW, the lack of a Halloween show during the Jim Crockett Promotions era, and more.

Below are a few standout parts from the podcast:

Concerning AEW’s recent partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, Anderson had this to say, “I’m extremely pleased for Tony Khan and his entire team, everyone who contributes there. As I’ve stated previously, it is a known fact that when wrestling thrives, every existing company tends to flourish. When these companies begin to gain popularity, it fosters competition which ultimately leads to an improved product. That’s my hope. Let’s see how it unfolds.”

Regarding the absence of a Halloween program during the Jim Crockett Promotions period, he explained, “My initial reaction would be that we probably wouldn’t have done that. Given that children formed a significant portion of our audience, and Halloween holds a special place for them, I suspect we would have scheduled a show either a day before or after. Depending on the day it fell, if it was a weekday, that could have been an appropriate time for a TV taping. If the day coincided with a TV taping day, we might have had some of the performers dress in costumes for a Halloween motif.”
