TNA World Titleholder, Nic Nemeth, has a remarkable repertoire that could push him towards a WWE Hall of Fame induction, but that’s far from his primary focus.
In the most recent episode of the podcast, “Busted Open Radio,” the wrestling champion shares his thoughts on the idea of a potential Hall of Fame honor, dismissing it as something he rarely contemplates. He stated,
“The thought of being inducted into the Hall of Fame doesn’t cross my mind very often. It becomes an intriguing conversation when someone else initiates it. I often realize that I take many things for granted, always putting in the extra effort to help others, even to the point of excess. I should have been more self-favorable.”
“However, my love for the wrestling business transcends these thoughts… I am not one of those giants, hardly six feet tall, barely crossing 200 lbs, never had a buddy in the high-profile meetings, never came through Ring of Honor or the independents, never had any backstage cheerleaders, except Pat Patterson. Even he wasn’t always there. And, ironically, whenever Pat attempted to advocate for me, the powers that be would arrange for me to lose as some kind of twisted humor.”
Reflecting on Nemeth’s notable achievements within WWE, he boasts two World Heavyweight title wins, a tenure as the NXT Champion, and numerous Intercontinental and U.S. Title victories.
Apart from these, Nemeth has also held the WWE Tag Team Championship title on both RAW and SmackDown and was victorious in the 2012 SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder match.
Currently spinning heads as the TNA World Champion, Nemeth is all set to defend his title tonight against Joe Hendry at TNA Bound for Glory 2024.
