WWE’s iconic Saturday Night’s Main Event is ready to make a triumphant return, with live broadcasts on NBC and Peacock simultaneously, slated for 8 p.m. E.T., December 14 from the historical Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, N.Y.
Originally, this event graced the television screens on NBC from 1985 through to 1991, then briefly on FOX in 1992. The WWE breathed new life into it in the prime time slot in March 2006, with subsequent broadcasts on NBCU dedicated to Raw on the USA Network until August 2008.
Crown Jewel 2024, another signature WWE event, is set to take place on November 2 alongside Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, scheduled for the final weekend of November. The calendar year will end on a high note with Saturday Night’s Main Event lined up as the grand finale December pay-per-view event.
In the ringside chatter, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has mentioned Cody Rhodes versus Kevin Owens and GUNTHER’s showdown with Damian Priest as potential headline bouts for Saturday Night’s Main Event, though it has been noted that “both are currently slated but not etched in stone.”
