Fans were granted the opportunity to get their hands on pre-sale tickets, despite the notably high price tags. Las Vegas Raiders season ticket holders managed to secure their tickets during an advanced sale held this past Tuesday, ahead of another pre-sale event that kicked off on Wednesday.
Reports from Pwinsider indicate that tickets for WrestleMania 41 have seen an escalation in pricing beyond their original costs. One person reported that a two-day combo ticket they bought initially for 0 had its price surge to more than 00 on Wednesday. Meanwhile, another batch of tickets that were bought for 00 on Tuesday witnessed price listings shoot up beyond 00 on Wednesday.
To clarify, these price inflations are not due to resellers but are the result of Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing system. This system boosts the cost of tickets based on event demand.
Following negative publicity surrounding this pricing method in the UK, investigations are being launched by the UK Competition and Markets Authority into the dynamic pricing practice.
