AEW Dynamite is set to lock horns with WWE NXT on November 6th, as NXT switches its usual timing to bypass clashing with the American election coverage. Adam Cole, in a recent chat with TV Insider, expressed his intrigue for the impending face-off.
Here are some takeaways from Cole’s interview:
Regarding the AEW and NXT face-off on November 6th, Cole said, “It’s incredibly thrilling. Competitive situations within the pro wrestling arena have always turned out to be beneficial. When there’s only one gig around, its scope is limited. When people get the chance to take each other on, it brings out the best from both sides. It’s only advantageous and positive for both the wrestlers and the fans.”
Speaking about the upcoming themed ‘Fright Night Dynamite’ episode, Cole, an ardent fan of Halloween, added, “I moved back to Pennsylvania, and I indulge in a horror film every week with my brother throughout October. We recently enjoyed a movie titled Oddity that I’d highly recommend. I adore theme-based shows like ‘Fright Night Dynamite’ and would love to participate.”
On a lighter note, Cole revealed that, as a child, he enjoyed dressing up as Dracula. His favorite recent costume was Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2, but he’s yet to decide on this year’s costume.
Deonna Purrazzo, another wrestling professional, exhibited her readiness to wrestle numerous talents in the All Elite Wrestling including Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Mercedes Mone and more.
“Oh gosh, Kris Statlander. Willow Nightingale would be interesting too. She possesses a naturally likeable personality that would be perfect for a plot with the true heel Virtuosa. Skye Blue, when she recovers. Certainly Mercedes Mone,” Purrazzo asserted.
Enumerating other potentials in the wrestling world, she divulged, “Our roster is continuously expanding. Though especially in AEW, and wrestling in general today is so quick-paced. Kamille debuted against Mercedes recently, and she is amazing. Competing against her is something I’d love. We have a vast talent pool.”
