During a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Rhino took a moment to reflect on his memorable experiences and favorite instances from his time with TNA. Rhino opened up about the highlights of his career by saying,

“Just having the opportunity to collaborate with TNA… wrestling alongside Abyss, and participating in one-of-a-kind matches; collaborating with AJ [Styles]. The hardcore pay-per-view that you [Tommy Dreamer] produced…I had a huge role in it. Making a comeback, engaging with talented individuals like Moose and Brian Myers… bonding with The Hardy’s, among other things.

“Seeing Joe Hendry’s meteoric rise and considerable talent development was something else altogether. He’s such a delightful person, extremely talented, and exceptionally creative. But, in terms of extraordinary moments in wrestling, for me, every single time I step out into the ring is a momentous occasion, being lucky enough to be able to pursue what we love.”

In 2005, Rhino made his TNA Wrestling debut shortly after finishing his tenure with WWE, and he seized the NWA Worlds Championship in the very same year.

Rhino has also reigned as a two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, with one of his records being along with his SmackDown Tag Team partner Heath Slater.

Rhino is set to be officially dubbed as part of the Countdown to Bound for Glory event later this week, along with TNA co-founder Bob Ryder.

Before his unfortunate passing in 2020, Ryder was the longest-serving employee at TNA and the late wrestling personality will be posthumously honored by his friend and fellow wrestler, Eric Young.
