During a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, renowned wrestler Bully Ray shared his thoughts on the return of Lilian Garcia at WWE RAW as the chief announcer for the red side.
Some highlighted remarks from the podcast session are recreated below:
On the subject of Garcia’s apparent unsettledness, Bully Ray stated: “There was a perceptible anxiety in Lillian, I felt it. Lillian seemed overambitious, striving to be more than necessary. It was as if Lillian aspired to step into Samantha’s position in a way.”
Regarding Garcia’s outlook, Bully Ray expressed: “All that Lillian Garcia needs to do, from here on out, is to be herself, Lillian Garcia. She shouldn’t imitate Samantha’s style. Samantha had a unique approach which she has taken with her as she moved on.”
On another note, on the “The Takedown” podcast, Natalya lauds her husband TJ Wilson for facilitating the reconciliation of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels post the Montreal Screwjob incident. In her words,
“TJ broached the subject with Bret, saying, ‘I had a genuinely meaningful conversation with Shawn. He was very kind and gracious towards me and Nattie. He had some sage advice and was extremely supportive. Shawn expressed remorse about his past issues with you. It was TJ who initiated the dialog between Bret and Shawn allowing them to seek resolution. We owe a debt of gratitude to TJ for paving this path since Bret greatly respects him and values his opinion. Shawn was very kind to us and I feel Shawn had been remorseful for quite some time.”
