Professional wrestler Sidney Akeem has confirmed that he will indeed be making a comeback to Ring of Honor at some point in the future. In a recent interview with “MuscleManMalcom”, Akeem, previously known as Reggie/SCRYPTS in WWE, reflected on his Ring of Honor spot in August and talked about his future return.

Key insights from the interview are as follows:

Concerning his previous Ring of Honor appearance: “Expect to see me there again. I will also be showcasing my talent in many other places. Being on these platforms doesn’t surprise me. It’s not being overconfident, but I sincerely believe I deserve to be where I am, be it in GCW, New Japan, AEW or WWE. I’m putting in great effort and building a strong base of what is required to be a successful professional wrestler. I’ve donned my stripes before, and it felt right, like home, like the norm. I’m eager to get back soon.”

Given the prospect of working with EJ Nduka and Lee Johnson: “I’m keen to work with my friend EJ Nduka, and also with Lee Johnson. They’re doing some impressive work. I would love to wrangle with Infantry. Shane Taylor Promotions, if you’re watching this, we need to talk. You represent the edge that I need to rid myself of the circus sommelier aroma. The discipline, the right approach, the unlocking – this could be something big.”

RJ City, who hosts the “Hey! (EW)” series shown each Sunday on AEW’s YouTube channel, recently appeared on the “Eyes Up Here” podcast to discuss the show and if the guests are aware of the questions in advance.

Highlights of the podcast below:

About the show: “Essentially, every Sunday morning, a different AEW wrestler or personality needs to withstand a barrage of my questions.”

Regarding guests being privy to the questions ahead of time: “Certainly not. They deserve credit for consistently stepping into this blindfolded.”

Is participation in the show mandatory for AEW talent: “[humorously] It ought to be. I sense some have been dodging me. There are folks like Taz who said, ‘I’ll be on the show to prove him wrong and make him work harder,’ which is rather un-Taz. Meanwhile, people like Jim Ross and Arn Anderson willingly agreed without fully understanding what it entailed. You can see who’s familiar with the show and who….. realizes halfway through what it’s all about.”
