RJ City – ‘It’s Wrong For Me To Take Credit For Toni Storm’s Character’

Although RJ City played a key role in the creation of Toni Storm’s ‘Timeless’ persona, he has modestly downplayed his contribution to its success.

It was claimed recently that City had a significant hand in shaping the character of Storm that has resonated well with the audience.

On the latest episode of the “Eyes Up Here” podcast, RJ addressed his collaboration with Storm and was quick to commend her skills. He remarked,

“I would say taking any credit for Toni Storm is so wrong because she’s so extraordinary. At this point, there is no character. I would say this, she turns anything, even a piece of garbage, into gold because she’s so talented and so dedicated. I can devise dumb ideas all day long, as I do every Sunday, but it’s she makes them successful.”

Storm hasn’t made an appearance for AEW since All In: London 2024, where she conceded the AEW Women’s World Championship to Mariah May.

Of late, Storm has been publicizing AEW’s Grand Slam 2025 pay-per-view event in Australia and has hinted at a potential challenge against May in Storm’s homeland.

In a highly-anticipated match-up, Toni Storm faced off against La Catalina in her CMLL debut. Click here to check out the performance of the Timeless One.
