PWInsider disclosed that Jimmy Jacobs was spotted backstage at the evening event of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Forged In Excellence.

This information emerged after Jacobs exited AEW a few weeks ago. Concerning Jacobs’ appearance, one informant stated that he’s merely acting as usual – or as they put it, “being Jimmy.”

Toni Storm, the previous AEW Women’s World Champion, made her first appearance in CMLL the previous night at CMLL Viernes Espectacular, where she squared off with La Catalina.

Storm was defeated by La Catalina but responded with a powerful speech targeted at her challenger.

Sternly, she proclaimed, “La Catalina! Your victory was a fluke because no one, I repeat, no one bests Timeless Toni Storm! You’re fortunate now, but your luck won’t last, I’ll be back in the ring before you know it! So brace yourself for the ultimate showdown! I detest you! I abhor you, La Catalina! Take heed, your downfall is imminent!”

In another report, Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) has announced that due to unforeseen travel complications, AEW star Lio Rush would not be able to participate in the day’s RevPro Global Wars UK occasion.

As a result, Rush was obligated to back out from his scheduled face-off with Mascara Dorada.

The officials from RevPro announced, “We regret to inform you that due to last-minute travel problems, Lio Rush would not be able to reach Doncaster in due time for the day’s event. Our apologies for the late notification. Lio has safely arrived in the UK, but won’t make it to the venue in time.”

Sharing his plight, Lio Rush tweeted, “My spirits dropped the minute I realized I’d not be able to reach in time for the show. Was excited for this all through the week. I’m certain I’ll meet you all again soon, but the disappointment doesn’t ease. Have a great event tonight, folks.”

Separately, Toni Storm is celebrating her 29th birthday today. Her colleagues from AEW extended their wishes, as evidenced by the tweet below:
