Experienced wrestler Tommy Dreamer recently gave a chilling account of a frightening incident he encountered, which could have easily resulted in a tragic end for the former ECW player.
During a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Dreamer reminisced on a traumatic episode from his past while discussing a relevant insight for AEW. He narrated,
“I once got jumped by 3 guys. I fought back, but one guy pointed a gun to my head & pulled the trigger- the gun jammed. I shouldn’t be here right now. I suffer every single day. But I’ll never stop fighting. That’s the emotion, that’s the type of babyface AEW needs.”
Dreamer made headlines previously when he purportedly contemplated bringing a gun to the celebrated WrestleMania 17 in 2001, allegedly planning to assassinate Paul Heyman and commit suicide.
The retired ECW World Champion decided against going along with his chilling intent once he discovered WWE was considering hiring him.
That same year, Dreamer made his premiere during the Invasion storyline, subsequently earning the title of Hardcore Champion whilst working with the organization.
