Nick Khan, the president of WWE, has officially announced Netflix’s plan to develop a new docuseries focusing on the behind-the-scenes workings of WWE. During his appearance at the University of Southern California Next Level Sports Conference this past Thursday, Khan revealed details about the forthcoming docuseries, marking a further extension of the partnership between the two prominent companies.
Previous reports on eWn confirmed that WWE RAW is scheduled for its debut on the popular streaming service in January 2025. The docuseries titled “Mr. McMahon” currently holds a solid ranking among the top 20 most-watched shows on Netflix. Despite its success, we understand that WWE’s direct influence on its creation was minimal, with the series being produced by Bill Simmons.
At the moment, it is unclear to what extent WWE will be involved in the production of the new docuseries.
