Bully Ray has set the bar high for The Hurt Syndicate in AEW, stating that there is a particular step they must undertake to ensure their success.
In the AEW Grand Slam: Dynamite event, MVP made his AEW debut and was soon followed by the appearance of Shelton Benjamin.
Bully gave his perspective on the group and anticipated arrival of Bobby Lashley during a recent episode of “Busted Open Radio” podcast.
“I’m anticipating we’re going to have Bobby, maybe there will be another new member, perhaps someone like a [Will] Hobbs. This refurbished version of The Hurt Business must command immense respect and instil fear. I’m looking forward to a contemporary-day Nation of Domination,” Bully opined.
“The Nation of Domination was somewhat of a gimmick during its early days; Vince McMahon had a fondness for quirky bits… My vision for the new Hurt Business is a group of powerful Black men, imposing their will,” he added.
In the recent Dynamite episode, Shelton Benjamin emerged victorious against Lio Rush, who was handed a business card following the match.
MVP was observed making an offer to The Acclaimed during the show. Anthony Bowens declined the offer on behalf of his team while Caster kept the business card offered to him.
