Artem Chigvintsev, renowned dancer, has put an end to rumors circulating that he plans to reunite with Nikki Garcia, after their divorce was initiated by the former WWE superstar a month ago.
Garcia, notably recognized in the wrestling universe as Nikki Bella, started the divorce proceedings against Chigvintsev on September 11. This followed his apprehension due to accusations of violent behavior, although formal charges have yet to be lodged against him.
Through a personal statement given exclusively to PEOPLE magazine, Chigvintsev sought to dispel the recently spreading speculations that he has any intention of making up with Garcia. Putting his foot down, he proclaimed,
“The reporting that I wanted to reconcile with Nikki is incorrect.”
Backing up his assertions, Chigvintsev’s legal representative, Ilona Antonyan, stated that he ceased all interactions with Garcia since the first weeks of October.
Allegations have been put forward by both Chigvintsev and Garcia with accusations of violent behavior revolving around a breakfast on August 29. This incident, allegedly involving their son Matteo, had added fuel to the fire.
On a legal battlefield, Garcia is pursuing the sole rights to custody of Matteo, granting visitation privileges to Chigvintsev. Conversely, the dancer is vying for shared custody of the four-year-old. The fate of the young boy currently hangs in the balance as this high-profile feud continues to unfold.
