TNA Wrestling has verified that their seasoned veteran, Rhino, and one of the company’s original founders, Bob Ryder, will be admitted into their Hall of Fame later in the month.
These two titans within the industry will see their formal induction as part of the build-up to the coveted event, “Countdown to Bound for Glory”. This ceremonious occasion will be held on the eve of Saturday, October 26, streaming on the TNA+ platform.
Making his dynamic entrance into TNA in 2005, Rhino took the wrestling scene by storm, snatching the World Championship within the same year. In addition, his proving ground stretches to a successful tenure as two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion.
Bob Ryder, who, in conjunction with Jeff and Jerry Jarrett, paved the way for TNA’s inception back in 2002, stayed loyal to the company until his untimely departure in 2020. His extraordinary spell at TNA crowned him the longest-serving employee in the company’s history. As a token of respect and friendship, Eric Young, a close friend of Ryder, will preside over Ryder’s induction and accept the prestige honor in his memory.
The Hall of Fame for TNA Wrestling burst onto the scene in 2012, housing some of the industry’s heavyweight names including Kurt Angle, Sting, Team 3-D, Gail Kim, Earl Hebner, and Ken Shamrock.
